So you have decided you want to leave the 9-5 office job behind, and you want to become a dive instructor. While doing your research, you will come across the phrase Zero to Hero or, in other words, do your open water course up to your instructor course at the one dive centre. If you are a certified Diver already, you can also take advantage of this. Most dive centres will discount the package based on what courses you have already done, and if you book multiple courses, you should get a discount.

If you go from open water To Instructor, You will need 7 Mouths due to needing to be Open water certified for six months before becoming an instructor.

Most people will take around three months to complete from Open water To Divemaster. Once certified as a Divemaster, they use the remaining time getting experience leading fun divers and assisting multiple instructors in seeing the different teaching styles that instructors use to teach the various PADI courses.
